UBC Okanagan Campus Establishes Formal Partnership with EWIE

On January 20, 2026, representatives from the University of British Columbia (UBC) Okanagan Campus visited Beijing. Mr. WANG Wei, President of East & West International Education Group (EWIE), received the delegation and extended a warm welcome. During the visit, both sides officially announced the establishment of a strategic partnership.

The UBC Okanagan delegation was led by Dr. Gurneet Anand, Senior Advisor, International Relations, and Ms. Dayna Li, Director of Global Engagement.

During the discussions, both parties explored potential directions for deeper collaboration and expressed strong enthusiasm for the prospects of their partnership. On behalf of EWIE, Mr. Wang stated,

Representatives from UBC Okanagan praised EWIE for its expertise and extensive experience in international education. They emphasized that this partnership will attract more outstanding Chinese students to Canada and promote cross-cultural exchange and academic collaboration.

Durham University and EWIE Discuss Deepening Long-Standing Collaboration Amid Evolving Study Abroad Trends

On 16 January , East & West International Education Group (EWIE) recently welcomed a senior delegation from Durham University, including Professor Andrew Gallant, Head of the Department of Engineering and Professor Markus Hausmann, Head of the Department of Psychology. The delegation was warmly received by President WANG Wei.
