On May 13, 2025, The East & West International Conference on Pathways & International Programmes, hosted by East & West International Education Group (EWIE) and guided by the Overseas Study Services Branch of the China Education Association for International Exchange (CEAIE), was successfully held at the Crowne Plaza Beijing Zhongguancun. Focusing on the pivotal role of pathway programmes in nurturing globally competent talent, the conference brought together more than 150 educational experts, institutional representatives, and industry leaders to explore the development and future of international preparatory education. On October 30, the Report on Global Competence Education in High Schools and the Analytical Report on the Practices in Global Competence Development for Youth in the New Era – A Case Study on the “Youth Global Competence Development Project” were officially released in Beijing. On August 23, 2024, the 6th Forum on China-Thailand Higher Education Cooperation, themed “Deepening High-Quality University Cooperation and Jointly Cultivating International Talent,” was held at the permanent venue of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week in Guizhou, China. On the morning of April 15th, the China Education International Exchange Association held an online opening ceremony for “New Youth Global Competency Project” and “New Youth Class”. At the end of 2021, the Education International Exchange Association of the Ministry of Education responded to our school’s application for the “New Youth Global Competency Talent Training Program”. Following research and expert evaluation, our school was approved to join the “New Youth Global Competency Talent Training Program”.
