EWIE Programmes Receive ECCTIS Benchmarking Recognition
The International Foundation Certificate (IFC) and International Year One (IYO) programmes delivered by East & West International Education Group (EWIE) have been formally benchmarked by ECCTIS, confirming their alignment with recognised UK and international qualification frameworks. ECCTIS are a globally respected authority in education, training, and skills development in the UK, specialise in making sense of qualifications across more than 60 countries and regions worldwide. Formerly known as UK NARIC, ECCTIS serves as the UK government’s designated national agency for the recognition and comparison of international qualifications and skills — and is widely regarded as one of the most authoritative qualification recognition bodies in the world. The benchmarking confirms that the IFC programme aligns with RQF Level 3 (equivalent to AQF Level 4), and the IYO programme aligns with RQF Level 4 (equivalent to AQF Level 5) — broadly comparable to UK A-Level and Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (SSCE) standards respectively. This provides UK universities and admissions teams with a clear and reliable framework for assessing the academic level and learning outcomes of EWIE students. The IFC programme is designed to support students in progressing smoothly into the first year of undergraduate study at overseas universities, while the IYO programme is structured to enable direct entry into
