International Talent Development Committee Established in Beijing

On June 12, 2026, the “Inaugural Conference of the International Talent Development Committee of the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF) and Symposium on Cultivating International Employability for University Students” was held in Beijing. The event was jointly hosted by SIEF and EWIE (East & West International Education Group), bringing together over 50 representatives from business and education sectors to discuss international talent development and industry–university collaboration.

The newly established Committee aims to address the growing demand for globally competent professionals as Chinese enterprises expand overseas, and to strengthen collaboration between universities and enterprises in talent cultivation and employment pathways.

The Committee’s core initiatives include international talent cultivation, competency certification systems, global leadership development, and a comprehensive talent service ecosystem supporting industry–education integration.

A formal unveiling ceremony was held to mark the establishment of the Committee, followed by the signing and exchange of a strategic cooperation agreement between the two founding organizations.

Participants from both industry and academia exchanged views on cross-cultural capability building and practical cooperation models, agreeing that the Committee will play an important role in advancing talent development across education and industry.
